It examines how nudity is employed by \nchoreographers and perceived by audience and seeks to understand its role in challenging \nsocietal norms. The research focuses on two case studies: More than naked by Doris Uhlich \nand Anima Ardens by Thierry Smits. Utilizing theories such as gender performativity, the male \ngaze, intersectionality and body politics, the analysis demonstrates that these two case studies \nuse the nudity as a tool of bodily reclamation, empowerment and resistance against social norms \nand beauty standards.
